The entire team at McMahon Structural, past and present are very honoured and proud to announce that we have had great success at the recent HIA Northern NSW Awards luncheon.
Taking home the 2015 HIA Northern NSW Home of the Year, the 2015 HIA Northern NSW Kitchen Project of the Year and the 2015 HIA Northern NSW Custom Built Home of the Year awards. This has been a team effort, and we would like to thank all of our local trades, suppliers, engineers and draftsmen for their efforts and continued support.
The winning home is located at 25 Clancy Drive, Inverell NSW.
"This home provides a modern twist on traditional rural living with the highly effective use of a variety of external materials, combined with the grandeur of a hotel style drive through entrance.
This contemporary custom designed home features three living pavilions that create a seamless transition between spaces whilst always incorporating the outdoors, encompassing a large ironbark and hardwood themed outdoor entertaining area. The meticulously calculated angles of the design combat the extremes of the Northern Tablelands climate, embracing the winter sun and cooling the home perfectly during the warmer months.
The rural views of this home are maximised through the use of floor to ceiling glass sliding doors and carefully planned breezeways that intensify the natural light and spaciousness.
A highlight of the home is the vibrant and fresh kitchen design that is bold in colour, visually appealing and highly functional. All of which is further enhanced by a large feature cedar bulkhead that reinforces the kitchens presence in the open plan living pavilion."
